Things I can't live without

Well first a card. I made this using a Mojo Monday sketch. It's a super simple card. I've been wanting to use my "aspiration" stamp set by CTMH and so I used it on this card. It's a 3x6 card which is often times my favorite size card to make. Now that I know how to make envelopes for any size card I am making a lot more of these.

They are the perfect size for a gift card or for a quick note to someone. I finally got to use one of my basic gray paper packs too. I believe it's "Archaic". I don't remember where I got all these 6x6 BG paper packs but I totally forgot I had them so I wanted to put them to good use.

Ingredients: Stamp set CTMH (Aspiration), Ink: SU! Old olive, apricot appeal and close to coco, DP: Basic Gray Archaic, CS: Bazzil Basics, Other: Olive Ric Rac (may arts), Silver thingy (can't think of a name for it)

Now for things I love:
My sketch book. It's a tiny book but I love it. I especially love it when a new magazine comes out or a new catalog. I will find samples I like and change the layout or something about it to create my own sketch. In fact I sketched 17 card layouts last night while sitting on the couch decompressing from my 4 hour study session (for state board exams). I'm going to try to get some time in stampin' today and making some of these sketches into cards. But we'll see.

Here are some of the sketches I did last night - I'll turn them into computer drawn sketchs at some point and then add them to my sketch book on the side bard to the left <---------

I don't know why I felt the need to share this with you LOL! maybe now you'll be inspired to create your own sketch book.

I am glad you shared, isn't that what this hobby is all about!? Great sketch book and I believe you got the 6x6 pads from the last convention I went to, remember you had to pay for my ticket since I don't carry cash. Ahhhh, my bbf TOE-KNEE. I miss you and love you more than your wallet!
